Welcome to the Dawn Modeler's Blog! Here there is a list of the times things were discussed/completed in relation to developing in Dawn.

July 2009


Final Human models produced, animations finalised, UV maps finalised.

June 2009


Shadow models for Buildings/props created/finalised. Still have more to create. Female model structure/hairstyle added.

May 2009


Research carried out for ruins/walls and fences textures for humans altered.

April 2009


Female model finalised, final texture decided upon. Facial structure chaged dramatically.

March 2009


More buildings and textures created.

February 2009


Props, (crates, barrels, carts etc) created and textured.

January 2009


Base Building and Landscape textures produced.

December 2008


Two more characters (one male, one female) modeled and tested within Dawn environment.

November 2008


Model "look and feel" scheme decided, two characters produced! (Party had) Then we animated and tested them within Dawn environment.

October 2008


Texture development for models started!! (Concept art and research) Five male and five female characters decided upon! Animation sequences researched.

September 2008


1200 polygon prototype human developed. (Used as base framework for humans)

August 2008


Landscape development tools decided upon!! Initial landscapes of 2kmX2km developed.

July 2008


Testing of landscape develpoment tools.

June 2008


Prototyping of "look and feel" of building design. (Had many a cup of tea)

May 2008


FIRST GAME MODEL PRODUCED!!! (Human male, 560 polygons. Prototype for consideration. Tested 3000 ploygon model in Dawn environment (untextured.. Headache).

April 2008


Analysed best combination of packages to use to achieve desried effects. (Blender and 3DS Max decided)

March 2008


Preliminary model concepts discussed.
